Lorelei and Gryffin have been having enormous fun with the doll stroller and Mr. Tubbins.
I love this photo of Lorelei. I have a photo from when I was her age carting around my white cat, Snowflake, in a stroller just like this.
Daddy's night at preschool.
Our buccaneer drawing up his map of treasure.
And our piratess coloring... pink, of course.
Mommy found herself becoming a bit like a Tiger Mom during violin lessons and decided she needed a way to make practice more fun. Meet the fishbowl of magnetic fish. It causes lessons to go on twice as long with half as much trouble. "In every job that's to be done there is an element of fun. You find the fun and SNAP--the job's a game!" -The ever-wise Mary Poppins
And after Lorelei, Gryffin and Mommy came down with the flu, Daddy brought Mommy some "just because" flowers and a sweet card. He's still so thoughtful!
Lorelei's concert at prechool. She sings with gusto and ignores the boy picking his nose beside her. That's our superstar!
And for her birthday present from Mommy, Daddy, Grammy and Bpop, we all went in on an American Girl doll. Lorelei picked Rebecca. We even found a violin for her doll, and Lorelei picked a cheerleading outfit. She loves reading the book and learning about Rebecca's heritage.
A picnic after preschool with Totley Crew friends (they've known each other since birth).
I can explain...
On a yucky day, Grammy and Mommy took Lorelei, Gryffin and Meaghan to Red Robin and the nail salon to celebrate Lorelei's and Meg's birthdays. The girls were getting their nails done, and poor Gryffy didn't want to be left out. So he got some shocking orange polish, and then the pedicurist talked him into sparkles. Honest.
Gryffy's showing off his polish.
Our twinkle-toes.
Happy birthday girls!
