Into the Woods II

One of our favorite things to do as a family is to disappear into a fairytale deep in the woods.
We climb massive beanstalks to the land of giants...
... then make a fast escape down a stray shoot before the giant comes seeking the gilded egg we filched from his prize goose.

We hop and skip over mermaid lagoon, which usually requires the careful placement of large rocks in the stream...
 ... or logs.

We swing back across the river as a band of pirates seeks our golden treasure.

And we have to trick a troll to cross the bridge, squeezing a ball of cheese in our hands and calling it a stone (thanks for the idea, Fin McCoul).

Every once in a while, we'll spot our good friends, Frog and Toad, and get... the shivers!  The Old Dark Frog is lurking near.
"Frog," asked Toad, "was that a true story?"
"Maybe it was and maybe it wasn't," said Frog.
